South-Eastern Region Omissions
British Telecom (BT) is reprinting
118,000 books after a major
printing error which resulted
in advertisements being omitted
from the South-Eastern Region
telephone book.
The books were distributed
to homes in the area in September
2005 and BT has said that it
is "very sorry" for
the error.
They go on to say that "BT
takes the responsibility of
its customers very seriously
and we want to make sure that
the phone book satisfies those
who use it and those who advertise
in it".
Comment
If BT truly "want to make
sure that the phone book satisfies
those who use it" they
would never have introduced
the four regional it in the
first place. This site has shown
that approximately 95% of site
visitors don't want regional
books.
When (if ever) is BT going
to listen to its customers?
